The Junglies Books and their history

How it all began.....

Aga the Nici brand, soft toy tiger who is Aga in the Junglies children's stories.

The Junglies were inspired by my eldest daughter and her soft toy tiger called "Aga". She slept with Aga every night and still has him to this day.

At te time that I first wrote the Junglies stories, she could not pronounce the names of animals correctly. For "rabbit" she said "Abbit", giraffe she said "Raff", Elephant she said "Elle", monkey she said "Kiki" and tiger she said "Aga". This is where the names of the characters for the Junglies came from.
